Darkness spreads over the night.
The cold seeps in through the aging windows.
A commotion continues above my room.
Screams, yelling, squeals, and laughter.
Yet here I sit alone.
Silence engulfs me. No words.
But I sense something more, something else.
Someone else...

Juliette
I never met you. But still it made me cry.
The emotion was high. The crowd was large.
How could someone so small make such an impact?
Someday in Heaven I will meet you, little Juliette.
The moment I saw you I knew you were special.
So bright and full of life. So full of love and joy.
A little girl like that is hard to find.
My eyes brimmed with tears of joy.
Envisioning your dad holding you once again.
What a wonderful God we serve, that gives us that hope.
I may have never met you, Juliette, but still you make me smile.
Rest in Peace.
